If your'e into Cajun/Creol cuisine, Carribean Creol in the south part of Malmö is a great place with reasonable prices.

As Alef mentioned Tempo is really good. Also, Metro (Ängelholmsg. 14) does a really nice fish soup and serves some good beers as well.

If you are looking for lunch then try out the vegetarian baguette at Solde (Regementsg. 2) who also make some of the best coffee in Malmö.

Sankt Markus Vinkällare probably has the best selection of wines in Malmö. If you are into wines (I'm a sucker for red wines) then you must visit this place. It will cost you a lot though :)

Good coffee, very friendly staff, serves good lunch incl. coffee on weekdays. Enjoy sitting under the trees on Kungsgatan with your coffee and enjoy the nice neighbourhood atmosphere.

Tempo is one of the best places to eat and drink in Malmö. Brilliant food, and great and friendly service.

Choice of beers and cider is better than average for Sweden. At least one or two micros on bottle. Often crowded in the weekends. The service is excellent but with a gleam in the eye, some would call it an acquired taste.

One of the places to go in Malmö if you want really good coffee. They also serve a great pasta salad.

I had a great tasting menu with 4 different small starters and 4 small main dishes. The tangerine crème brulée with ginger ice cream was delicious. Enjoyed the evening with my team mates in this modern asian style restaurant a lot.
