A very nice hotell. Good place to stay and allso a good place to eat.

I spent one month in room 46 at the Avalon. This is a wonderful hotel with great staff and good food. While my room was on the small side I never felt uncomfortable. The wireless leaves much to be desired unfortunately but since I had an office close by it didn't ruin my experience. If you can ( and it's warm ) make time to visit the rooftop pool.

Great hotel close to all the main shops, parks and waterfront (only 15mins walk away). Breakfast included and good - definitely worth a visit. member of the Design Hotels. Right next door check out the cafe/sofas and tuck into a freshly peeled prawn open sandwich or the famous Swedish meatballs.

Good French cuisine and great pizzas for affordable prices. I go here every now and then.
