There is in Russia this chain of shopping centres called Mega, and the biggest one in SPb is the Mega Dybenko. It is located in the crossing of Murmanskoye soshe and the KAD (the circle road). You can easily get there by free bus from the metro stations Lomonosovskaya or Ulitsa Dybenko.

The shopping center includes huge Ikea, Obi, Ashan and probably couple hundret different shops, restaurants etc. If you want to make it easy and find everything in the same place, try this huge place worth to just see.

If you are looking for food market and you want to feel some national color go to Sennoy Rynok - this is centrally located, cheapest market with excellent fruits, vegetables and meat all over the ear. It's hard to find and it can seem a bit scary to a foreigner - but i like it.

Go to the shopping complex Пик (Pik) at Sennaya Ploschad metro station. There's a supermarket on the ground/basement floor called Перекресток (Perekrestok) - its where all the locals go, esp. good for caviar supplies.
