Chinese food is excellent in the city, if you know the right places. It is genuine, like in Northern China. It is not adapted, like in Europe. It is of decent quality, I've been there over ten times, and never had anything been spoiled. And it is cheap.

The best place to come with friends (NOT for intimate talks with a new girlfriend) is Cafe Lina located on Baikalsky Trakt (Baikal highway going to the village of Listvyanka) just after the city.
