You have a few choices. But Maxi, Pekabeta, C market, Familija market are the most spread out. Prices are somewhere in the middle, but they have big range of products.

Maxi are like large 7Elevens. Mercator is large and based in New Belgrade. iDEA are large supermarkets and there is one underneath UŠĆE Shopping Centra (also has shops, bowling, huge 8 screen 3D/6D cinema, food court, etc). UŠĆE is also in new belgrade (a 10min bus ride from the centre)

Near old Mercator (5mins from new Mercator) there is a very large Green market where you can get salads, vegs, fruit and also downstairs there is a fresh fish market. Go early (before 11am) to get the best stuff and experience the nicest ambience.
