I think that the Brukenthal Museum (one of the oldest museums in the world) and the "Astra" National Museum (also called Peasants Museum) would be a start, the main squares of the city are amazing and all of them are situated in the center (Big Square, Little Square, Huet Square...), the Evanghelican Church is also a must, the Old city. In the evening there are a lot of nice places to relax and enjoy the medieval charm of the city in a cafe. Also there are a lot of incredibly good quality cultural events: classical music concerts, theater plays and the jazz nights.
