Visit the Sé, which is the old part of the city and it's also next to Ria Formosa.

If it's Summer, going to the beach maybe a good idea. Or go for a cold beer or coffee near the marina.

The Faro Jewish Heritage Centre near the hospital is always a good choice, especially if you're interested in the history of Faro. It's the only remaining vestige of the post-Inquisition Jewish presence in Portugal!
