What's good to explore in Kraków?

Adrian Tałocha replied about 1 year agoTry Auschwitz and Wieliczka Salt Mine, now available as 1 day tour. More to see in limited time, for great price. Check www.YourKrakowTours.com for price.
For Old Town, Kazimierz and Podgórze with Schindler's factory sightseeing I suggest using electric cart Melex (golf cart) with audio system in 2 hours you'll see most important places and save your feet, www.abcitytour.pl is the company I used when my parents came to visit.
Best regards and have a nice stay in Krakow Adrian

What's the best thing for visitors to do at the weekend?

Adrian Tałocha replied about 1 year agoHi,
If you're interested in visiting I'd suggest doing "must sees". 2 days is not much so start with Auschwitz & Wieliczka 1 Day Tour here's link http://www.yourkrakowtours.com/index2.php?tour=3 (you'll find other popular destinations here) evening spend in one of the restaurants surrounding Main Market Square or go to bohemian Kazimierz for late drink.
Next day you'll spend visiting most popular places in Krakow, I suggest 2h tour of Old Town, Kazimierz and Podgórze with Schindler's factory using electric cart. www.abcitytour.pl
Rests of the time spend visiting Wawel Castle or simply sitting outside the restaurant and enjoying your coffee or wine.
If you need more info just let me know I’ll try to help

Where's good to explore in Wieliczka?

Thomas Kieres replied about 1 year agoSalt Mines in Wieliczka is definitely must see place if you're visiting Krakow. The great thing about Salt Mines is the temperature that is constant (around 15 Celsius degrees) all year long. In hot summer it will cool you down and in harsh winter warm up. As it was mentioned before it's good to combine trip to Salt Mine with Auschwitz tour on the same day. There is absolutely no problem with time to do it in one day and even 1-2 hours break for a lunch is possible on the way from first to second destination. For more details about these private tours take a look at the following website: http://krk-krakowtours.com/auschwitz_salt_mine_one_day_tour.html
