Geoff Parker replied over 3 years agoIn Vino Cafe & WIne Bar
The only place in Warsaw that has felt cozy - nice jazzy relaxed vibe with a different sort of crowd - culture vultures.
Good food (tapas and mains) with many vegetarian options plus a great selection of wines displayed on a large rack along the wall (careful they add on a percentage for opening the bottle so the prices shown are a bit deceptive).
I recommend the Niemann Coppola Californian Zinfandel - it was great! There were a few bottles left when I was there last week (Nov 08).

Cool atmosphere, great range of teas and good coffee. And hookah to puff on if you want one. The name means "Just the Dregs". Cool.

francesco mucio replied over 2 years agoChłopskie Jadło for Polish cuisine, the place is a fake-rural restaurant, but the food is very good. My suggestion is don't take the usual pierogi (ther'are better places where to eat pierogi in Warsaw), but to taste other foods.
At the beginning the waiter will bring you bread, smalec (the Polish lard), salt and pepper, spread lard on a slice of bread, add salt and pepper and enjoy it.
It's not the cheapest place in Warsaw, but the prices are fair

Ilkka-Cristian Niemi replied about 1 year agoVery good Italian restaurant in Wola, Warsaw. Place is very cosy and quite small in a peaceful area, about 5km from the Old town. Ingredients which restaurant use are mostly Italian. Service is definitely very good as is the food and at reasonable price. It´s very difficult to find a good restaurant where they serve well prepared beefs (medium) in Poland, but surprisingly this is one of them. Recommended!

Marcin Koziński replied about 1 year agoFirst of all, this is a place for margaritas, which are really big (small 0,5 liter, big 1 liter), sweet and very good. Of course they also serve great Mexican food, I recommend buritos.
