Chopskie Jadlo (Peasant Food). Great place to try a variety of Polish foods. Our favorites there were globacki and pierogies. Best restaurant we ate at was called CK Dezerter. This was so good we ate there twice. Try their spareribs - fantastic! Both of these restaruants in old town.

Youmiko Sushi is amazingly good. You might not expect to find somewhere like this and indeed you might find it hard to find but it's worth it.

Aperitif in Sienna. Consistently high quality food, decent wines at fair prices and excellent service by multilingual staff. My favourite restaurant in Krakow.

Second choice, altogether different but always lovable CK Dezerter in Bracka. Low key, relaxed, consistently good unpretentious food, good choice of vodkas.

For pizza you go to Cyclop in Mikołajska.

For Polish-Yiddish style food got to Szara (either in the Main Square or Kazimierz). Pricey but good.

Hi I'd suggest Miod i Wino at Sławkowska Str. They serve grilled meat served on swords it looks and tastes great; also they have folk music live every evening. I made my last birthday there and I can recommend it with clear conscience.

BR and have a nice stay in Krakow Adrian
