doesn't matter where you stay, you'll be heading out anyway

don't worry too much about where to stay while in el nido. you'll most probably be heading out to the islands on any given day anyway. having said that, a resort called los cabanas seems to be the perfect place if you want to stay away from the crowds(not that there are many people around anyway). instead of going to the popular islands, ask the boatmen or guides to take you to their favourite spots, because they're usually empty and usually amazing.
