el nido is still relatively quiet compared to the madness that has plagued many an asian beach. but to ensure that don't bump into other travellers, head to the beaches that boats will probably bring travellers to last, because it's on the way back to the town. 7 commandos beach at around 11am is one such beach. it's a stunning stretch of sand, but i think can get quite crowded towards the end of the day (by crowded i mean 3 more couples), so get there first thing in the morning and you won't regret it.
