about Lima:
Any one been to Peru lately? I am trying to get a sense how expensive it is these days and ideas for a good inexpensive hotel in Lima and Cuzco, any other recent tips welcome as well.

Marcelo Ruiz replied over 2 years agoI don't know where are you from but for me, being from Argentina, resulted very cheap. Some places like Cuzco and Machu Pichu are inevitably more expensive because they are very touristic. In Cuzco you can find hotels for US$ 50

Christian Arakaki replied over 2 years agoI´ve been in Cusco in 2008, and I paid less than US$25 in hostel, near to "plaza de armas" (Cusco´s city center).
