Head down to the Viaduct Basin. It's lined with restaurants and though they change from time to time, most are very good. There's Indian, Italian, Middle-Eastern, very good Thai (at the back, away form the water), international cuisine, an Irish pub, Japanese, something for everyone.

For boho atmosphere head to Titirangi, out west.

For coffee head to Ponsonby Road and take your pick. Great for breakfasts, too.

Tagore (Indian) on the Viaduct Basin Mai Thai (Thai) on Victoria Street right off Albert Street. Also, for great sushi, go to St-Pierre's Sushi, fast food sushi at it's best, all around town, one in the Mid-City Arcade on Queen Street and Elliott.
