Even if there would be several other nice hotels available, I always return to this legendary guesthouse. Authentic, simple and good service, good location, inexpensive.

The Kathmandu Durbar Square.

The old durbar square of Bhaktapur is for explorers. the other durbar squares are good, but not what i'd called exploring.

Bouddha. is a fantastic place . its a great pilgrimage site for buddhists. and a sight to behold!

its to the north west of kathmandu. you can find more information about it in a nepal travel help site called www.exoticbuddha.com if you want.

Another place would be the Monkey temple called "syambhu" near the center of Kathmandu.
