    Club evening

Nice places to go for differing nights:

    - Blå - Villa - Fabrikken - Kaos

They mostly play House/electro, but check the sites and they can surprise with a different evening as well.

In Blå there's a free Jazz Sunday, every Sunday

I recommend the Grand Hotel, which is in the heart of the city, on Karl Johansgate. Book online at rica-hotels.com for the best rate.

A very nice and relatively cheap Hotel is the "Quality Hotel 33", 15 minutes northeast of the city center. Easy access by metro (15 minutes from Oslo centralstation), airport bus or car (free parking).

Good quiet budget hotel with excellent breakfast buffet and free, unlimited broadband internet in every room. Central to most sights and close to the business district.

You can choose from rooms with and without bathrooms. Breakfast is not included, but they have a simple buffet available. Rooms are cheap and clean.
