    Stratos

Fantastic place on the 11th floor, at the top of the old Opera. Unbeatable 360 degree view of Oslo, and sun until very late. Perfect place for drinking rosé wine and relaxing at the end of a long day. Open only in summer, and weekends only.

    Oslo Pass

The Oslo Pass provides free travel on all public transport, including scenic ferry rides, and free admission to museums, which are otherwise quite expensive.

Contemplate the cycle of life or the "human condition" in these beautiful surrounds. The monolith is the star attraction, and there are many photo opportunities along the way.

Awesome ski park, only 20 mins from downtown Oslo. Get there early to avoid the queues if you are renting your equipment, it can get very busy.

You think you know how big these things are until you get up close to one. If you are in Oslo you have to check this out, it's scary just looking up at it, never mind hurling yourself off the end of it.

In the summer, if you like to share the beach with furious children (children often tend to be furious) or just chilax in the nature, while still getting the city feeling because of all the people surrounding you, please go to Hovedøya. You won't be disappointed!

If you have the time you should take the guided tour of the Opera House available every day at noon. Check out the roof and the restaurant in the main hall - also open for lunch. It's all very modern and extremely fascinating!

The fortress is one of my favorite places in the Oslo. The fortress itself has a very peculiar architecture, and inside the walls there are plenty of things to see. The Medieval castle is the gem, and the Resistance Museum will leave a long lasting impression. They king's guard have an office here and they are also the guards of the fortress.

The National Gallery has a huge collection of Norwegian artists and their masterpieces. The building itself is very impressive, and after enjoying the art, both Norwegian and international, I always like to finish of visit here at the café in the main hall. Closed on Mondays as all the other National Museums.

This is one of the really famous places in Oslo. The park itself is beautiful, and the statues makes it even more interesting. All the statues are naked, which makes a trip here a study of the human body(!). In the summer it's a popular hang out place for picnics and bbq.
