    Club evening

    Added March 4th 2008

    grynelokka

Nice places to go for differing nights:

    - Blå
    - Villa
    - Fabrikken
    - Kaos

They mostly play House/electro, but check the sites and they can surprise with a different evening as well.

In Blå there's a free Jazz Sunday, every Sunday

    Oslo Pass

    Added June 9th 2008

    Tourist Information Offices

The Oslo Pass provides free travel on all public transport, including scenic ferry rides, and free admission to museums, which are otherwise quite expensive.

    Stratos

    Added June 3rd 2008

    Youngstorget 2

Fantastic place on the 11th floor, at the top of the old Opera. Unbeatable 360 degree view of Oslo, and sun until very late. Perfect place for drinking rosé wine and relaxing at the end of a long day. Open only in summer, and weekends only.

QBA for a good place to work for an afternoon

    Added June 11th 2008

    Olaf Ryes Plass

QBA on Olaf Ryes Plass is a bar/cybercafe with free wifi and plenty of powerpoints along the walls. When I was there it seemed like it was full of local start-ups and freelancers using it as their office. There's plenty of air, light and coffee to keep you going, and the hobo symbols on the wall are a nice nod to warchalking...

    Alex sushi

    Added June 3rd 2008

    Cort Adlers gate 2

Supposedly one of the world's best sushi restaurants. Informal atmosphere, and excellent food. Expensive, even for Norwegian standards.

Nodee - good sushi and other Japanese food in Majorstuen

    Added August 27th 2008

    Majorsteun

Nodee is one of the better places for good food and sushi in Oslo I think. Alex Sushi is supposed to be better, but way too expensive. This place is trendy, but still has very good service (other than the phones, which they can't seem to answer somehow). The pay attention, have good food (the tempura rocks, the sushi is good too as are the other Japanese dishes)
