Fabulous hotel, stylish but inexpensive and not too flashy still with all things taken in to consideration. Bose speakers in your room, different rooms have different amenities. Studio 5 highly recommended, floor to ceiling windows, and projector with screen by your bed. (Although if you fancy a lie-in then book only once the construction site next door has wrapped up...)! Kitchen will cater to all tastes, and staff is superfriendly.

Nice budget hotels in Rotterdam: Hotel Emma, very central, and Hotel van Walsum.

Hotel Bazar in the Museum District. Oriental/SouthAmerican/African style, oriental kitchen, huge breakfast, free bikes!, great location, friendly staff, wireless internet, cool restaurant and bar. Affordable prices compared to other hotels in the area.

Very original style. Downside: The street gets really loud on weekends.
