Rotterdam, Netherlands + Add a trip

The largest market in Rotterdam is the one on Blaak (near binnenrotte and the public library) Huge, everything is available, on at tuesdays and saturdays. But I go mostly to the Afrikaandermarkt South of the river: great ethnic produce, not as gigantic as the market on Blaak, more intimate.

In terms of shopping, you definitely should pay a visit to the "Beurstraverse" (known as the "Koopgoot") right in the city centre. If you're looking for mega stores and everything for your house you should visit the shopping centre "Alexandrium" at the east side of Rotterdam.
