When it's the proper season - eg Mid-March to Mid-May. One thing to do is to go and visit the keukenhof . To go there you'll need to take the bus from the centraal station. But it's really well worth it. Keukenhof is the tulip market, so you'll be able to enjoy the view of multiple flowers and all sorts of colors. Really nice.
