The center of town isn't that big and close to the main train station. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there's a market where they sell almost everything. The Groest and Kerkstraat are the two streets that connect most of the shopping streets, including the mall (Hilvertshof) and the market square. There is a secondary shopping street called the Gijsbrecht van Amstel street (Gijsbrecht for short) south from the center.
