Do you mean a wireless accesspoint? there are some in hotels, and on the train to Leeuwarden, but then you pay for the room / train! Internet on computer is not expensive in libraries in groningen, (look up bibliotheken), but not usefull for all porposes (gaming?).

There are some café's like in the oude ebbinge straat, where you get free access with your coffee!

Coffee- and lunchbar 'Bagels&Beans' (Zwanestraat 30, 9712 CN Groningen, Tel.: 050-3112668) has free wifi for customers. Just ask at the bar for the inlogcode.

try it in the McDoanld's restaurants in town, they should all have free WiFi access....in Groningen and in whole Netherlands!

also quite handy: buy a dutch prepaid card for your mobile and put it in your (smart) phone, there are offers from the providers which give you one day unlimited mobile internet access for less than one hours paid wifi in some spots.....
