Where's good to explore in Enschede?

  While you might not expect it from a museum Twentse Welle is a great place to go with kids (even very young ones, like our 2 years old). It's a noise-friendly place that has lots of things to interact with - like an old farm hourse to walk into or prehistoric fossils to touch. Make sure you try to open drawers and touch buttons...

  The only issue is that there is no info in English (only Dutch and German), so with some things you'll have to guess.

What's the best thing for visitors to do at the weekend?

  Go to the Twentse Welle Museum, for a good overview of local history. Afterwards be sure to have a drink on Oudemarkt, in one of the numerous pubs there.
