Near central station, the Leidseplein, and the Rembrandtsplein.
If for some reason you don't want falafel (maybe you have a date later and don't want the garlic?), you can get a sandwich (broodje), soup, or something light at any cafe in town. The French fries are great in most places too (that is "patat" or "friet"). Unless you are British in which case you want soggy "chips" and then you are pretty much screwed; wait until you get back to the UK! ;)

Paul Meester replied over 4 years agoLocated between the Nieuwmarkt and the Waterlooplein, you can find TisFris. Modern, Artistic with inviting music, TisFris is situated on a bridge overlooking canals flanking the Niewenmarket and Waterloomarket, the Music and Opera house.
The food is fresh and tasty and there always is a good vegetarian choice as well.

Elly Parker replied over 4 years agoWok to Walk, several locations around the city. Chinese take-away (some seats available inside). You choose your meat, veg, rice/noodles and sauce, then they make it up in a box. Delicious and much better for you than McDonalds or Febo.
