    Cinema Paradiso (westerstraat 184-186) - www.cinemaparadiso.info For good Italian food - don't forget to try their sgroppino! Btw: you'll find lots of other restaurants on this street.

    Siempre (eerste sweelinckstraat 23) for some nice tapas on their quiet terrace next to Sarphatipark

    Also nice is starting your party evening with dinner at TROUW Amsterdam (wibautstraat 131) which converts to nightclub after 23h00 on fri/sat - trouwamsterdam.nl
