Where's good to eat in Amsterdam?

  Had a fantastic meal in De Kas - all seasonal produce much of it grown in the restaurant's own greenhouse and gardens. One set menu for 50euros and suggested wines at 25euros makes this a classy treat of an evening

  I love this place. Everything is either grown there in the greenhouse or in one of their farms just outside of Amsterdam. The menu changes everyday depending on what's fresh. I've only been around the winter months so the menu was always centered around root vegetables and meat. I'm looking forward to a spring/summer visit. If you don't get the wine pairing, it's actually pretty reasonable for what it is...but the same can be said if you go for the wine. 45-55€ w/o wine, 100€ w/ wine. Make reservations relatively far in advance, especially for Saturday nights.
