Gavin Bong replied over 3 years agoStay in bed inside your hotel and avoid the smog and polluted air outside. Even then, make sure you boil all water before drinking ( tap water, bottled water, etc.. ). In fact, why are you visiting Malaysia in the first place. Malaysia is a dangerous place especially for homosexuals, couples, non-muslims, jews and african students. Stay away.

if you are straight or gay, old or young, you should stop by. super cheap at RM15 for soft drinks and i dunno how much for beers cover charge.
Why should u come? Well, lots of malay locals, mostly boys. Nice mix of music, no house no trance and no drugs. A bit of local music mixed in as well.. and usually there are a show at 1am or something like that. Usually a drag queen here there in the show.

Daphne Cheah replied over 2 years agoFor performing arts enthusiasts, you'll be surprised that Kuala Lumpur is a city thriving with life in this industry. If you have a weekend free, do check out www.klpac.org as it has lots and lots of performances (theatres, musicals, plays, choir performances, art exhibitions, etc) for you to catch. Prices for these performances are very affordable, ranging from RM20 (usually for students) to about RM80 (depending on what show you choose). There has been lots of international performances that has been held here, as well as graced by royalties and other performing arts afficianados. There is also a Japanese restaurant called Yuritei in it, which overlooks a beautiful pond (or maybe lake) which you can just relax and have a good time, even if you are not there to watch a performance. Try KL Performing Arts Centre, it is one of my favourite places to go for a weekend.
