Daphne Cheah replied over 2 years agoFor performing arts enthusiasts, you'll be surprised that Kuala Lumpur is a city thriving with life in this industry. If you have a weekend free, do check out www.klpac.org as it has lots and lots of performances (theatres, musicals, plays, choir performances, art exhibitions, etc) for you to catch. Prices for these performances are very affordable, ranging from RM20 (usually for students) to about RM80 (depending on what show you choose). There has been lots of international performances that has been held here, as well as graced by royalties and other performing arts afficianados. There is also a Japanese restaurant called Yuritei in it, which overlooks a beautiful pond (or maybe lake) which you can just relax and have a good time, even if you are not there to watch a performance. Try KL Performing Arts Centre, it is one of my favourite places to go for a weekend.
