Mahekal Beach Resort

Stayed at Iberostar Quetzal, which is literally next-door to Paraiso--in fact, the entertainment hall and the outdoor pools are common areas to the two resorts, which are mostly mirror-images in layout. The main differences are the specialty restaurants and decor. This was my wife's and my first time in an all-inclusive, and we enjoyed it quite a bit. She's very active and was never bored. I relaxed on the beach and read three novels.

I've stayed in the Reef Playacar. Which is a good hotel with good prices, more family oriented-all inclusive. It's very close to the 5th (like a 50 pesos taxi) and very close to nice hotels if you like walking in the beach. Check it out.
