The best thing to do at the weekend would be to hop on the turibus and drive around Mexico City. If you have already done this, on Saturday morning go to Plaza de San Jacinto in San Angel, walk around the art market and eat lunch there. In the evening hit La Condesa, have dinner at Cafe La Gloria or Ligaya and then grab some drinks at El Imperial or any other bar there, when the party is over, go have some tacos at El Califa, I recommend "bisteck con queso". On Sunday, go to Coyoacán and walk around this colonial neighborhood and eat some quesadillas at the little market behind the church.

Take tour to the pyramids at Teotihuacan; eat & drink -- you need to experience the wonderful cuisine of Mexico; go to Taxco to buy silver; visit any of the markets (agree on Saturday San Angel is great for a start) ... ... ...

San Angel and Coyoacan are the best to experience the traditional mexican flavor inside the cosmopolitan and urban feel of Mexico City. Try a Mezcal in Los Danzantes (Coyoacan) followed by a real taco of worms or crickets in full nouvelle cuisine style. Or go to San Angel Inn (San Angel) and drink a Tequila with "Sangrita" in the Bar while you wait for a table in the restaurant to enjoy a deliciuous Mole. This two visits can start with a small museum each Frida Khalo in Coyoacan and Diego Rivera Studio in San Angel.

The best thing to do at Mexico City is go to any of the following places, Downtown, Chapultepec, Xochimilco, Teotihuacan. And rest in a confortable and warm Hotel, I recomed the Crowne Plaza at the World Trade Center
