December in Marrakech - Arabian Horse Show

We traveled to Marrakech last December. The weather was perfect. Need a sweater for evenings. Even though it is touristy. we really enjoyed the Arabian Horse Night, dinner and show. It is worth the time.

Just wander around in the medina, the walled part of the old city right in the middle of town, day or night. The tiny, winding streets, filled with stalls and (mostly) friendly salesmen enticing you to look at their ceramics, lamps, kilims (rugs), herbs and spices, swords, furniture... you could imagine being a venetian merchant in the middle ages trying to fit out a room in a palace. It's not so big that you get lost, and even if you do, anyone around is happy to direct you back to "La Place" (the square of Djaama el-Fna)

It's also great for photos: during the day, the colours, the sights and the sounds are amazing... and in the evening they're even better!

A must go for that special occasion, excellent food, music, lighting, service. The business.
