Great cafe, and most importantly for a place like Fes, is very easy to find: less than 10mins walk into the medina from Bab Boujlod, and located down a tiny alleyway opposite the water clock.

This place is laid back and fun and a great place to hang out for lunch, dinner or just stop for a freshly squeezed juice. There's a library, upstairs terrace, downstairs courtyard, and lots of little rooms on every floor to hang out in. The owner Mike Richardson hosts music nights, art expos, poetry readings and the like. You can also take cooking lessons there if interested.

The cafe's specialty is camel burgers, with the meat bought fresh from the medina.

Great place for tea buffs, especially those in search of non-caffeinated tea and coffee (all but impossible to find in Morocco). They even have rooibos.

You get to enjoy your tea in the garden of an old French colonial house, replete with a fountain, flowers and friendly cat. Very pretty, very relaxing.

Delicious and luxurious prix fixe meal with live entertainment in a fabulous Riad setting. I could have stopped eating after the appetizer sampler platter, but there was still cous cous, tagine, and a pastry dessert to enjoy!
