This museum aims to promote the importance of pottery in relation to Koreans' lives, both past and present. It serves to spread the use of pottery in today's society. There are three exhibition halls: Earthenware Hall with more than 1,000 pieces, Folk Living Tools Hall with more than 2,000 pieces, and Farming Tools Hall with more than 100 pieces. To thoroughly look at all the artifacts takes from 60-90 minutes. The museum also publishes books about ceramics and provides pottery courses for students.
