Lee Gibson replied over 2 years agoChrysanthemum Restaurant is in Seongbuk-dong. It's a beautiful, traditional Korean restaurant that is housed in a Hanuk (traditional Korean house) surrounded by a small garden. The food is delicious, the menu is seasonal, the dishes artfully arranged and served in courses. The servers are dressed in Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) and guests have the choice of sitting on the floor cushions or tables and chairs (but the best views are from the floor seating right next to large windows). The restaurant itself is decorated in organic materials and natural colors, and every detail has been carefully thought out (check out the gorgeous stoneware sink in the toilets). This is a very good option for a meal after visiting Kilsangsa Temple in Seongbuk-dong (it is one street away, same street as Kim's Mart). The name outside the restaurant is in Korean, but look for the traditional wooden house with a sign that has a big flower on it. The restaurant has a small parking lot in front as well, and an "Ajoshi" who will help you park your car.
