Yokohama, Japan + Add a trip

The Minato Mirai bay area of Tokyo is very spacious and not too crowded even on weekends. Get off at Sakuragicho Station, walk to the landmark tower, through the Queen's complex, accross to World Porters, on to the Red Brick Warehouses. If you are getting tired, head back to Sakuragicho, but if you are still energetic, continue on the Osanbashi Pier for a great vista of the bay. From there you can go on to China Town and Motomachio but that's turning into a long walk. There is a 100 yen mini-bus if you want to expedite parts of the walk. Of course this can also be down in reverse :-)

Avoid Yokohama station which is crowded and rather characterless.
