Where's good to stay in Tokyo?

  Pros - room clean and reasonably comfortable, if fairly cramped - good price - free internet in lobby and free cable modem loan is available for use in the room, requires some messing sound to work. No Wifi.

  Cons - poor location, but at about 10 minutes walk to JR Yamanote line most places are accessable - room was very small and cramped - window in room opened out onto a wall, so no natural light - room was next to communal area and launderette so it was very noisy - mini-fridge in the room but it's not stocked - very difficult to find, even with provided directions - furnishings old and tatty - no restaurant or breakfast but small kitchen available
