Kōbe, Japan + Add a trip

Around Sannomiya station (regarded as downtown Kobe), there are many places to eat, and the lunch specials are always nicely priced. For 1000yen you can get a pretty good meal in a pretty swanky place - the Mint Kobe building is a good example of this - Wada is pretty fancy in the evening and pretty tasty during lunch. If you want Kobe beef and you're on a budget, have Kobe beef for lunch in Sakurai, near the convention center, its a wrestling themed steak place. Finally, if you are hungry for Indian food, go to Hunter-zaka and look for the white apartment building, next to the taxi company, that has a secret Indian all-you-can-eat restaurant on the 3rd floor.
