Italo Cocco replied over 2 years agoThis apartment, Cà gioiosa is very bright and welcoming and offers a panoramic, off the high street, view of Venice. From here, it is easier to understand the life of a city built on the Lagoon. Ideal for couples and families with children who want to spend a holiday in Venice in a comfortable place at an affordable price.

mike hunt replied over 2 years agothere would be a lot to write in my opinion about this excellent 4 star hotel, one of the very few left still family run, not belonging to an international, standardised hotel chain. The Hotel Saturnia & International has its own typical and ORIGINAL style. Location is great near St. Mark's square in the city center (the map here is completely wrong!!!)
My suggestion is to make a reservation via their own official website (as I did...), you will save money, time and in case of need you will be able to contact them directly !

Brian Doherty replied over 2 years agoThe Hotel Monaco & Grand has its own water-taxi dock. This is critical! Most hotels, no matter how grand, require you to drag your luggage from the public dock to their front door. This is a bummer with all those steps over the small canals. Also, ask for the Monaco & Grand's sister establishment - Palazzo Selvadego. Your own little spot just off San Marco, and you can still use the main hotel's amenities.
