Firstly, Sauze is a TOP place, great people, and awesome skiing.
OK, ski hire - easy one here, just go to Clataud Sport on Via Assieta and ask for Clata. Tell him Jon sent you and you will well looked after (I hope!).
Pizza - just next door to Clataud Sport - there is a small window that sells amazing pizza. Flavio is the pizza cook and a top chap too!
Food on the mountain - the Orso Bianco at Sportinia (the main ski area) is superb. A great selection of food, plenty of room and always gets the sun outside. Simone and Dawn run the place and PT will also be there. Again, let them know I sent you!
Great food in the village - Del Borgos for pizza, Del Falcos for amazing food and Spaghetti House for incredible pasta!
TOP tip - go to the Miravellino Hotel bar for aperitivos and great pre dinner food!
