Adam Peake replied over 3 years agotwo good restaurants
"La Mescita", Via D. Cavalca 2, Pisa (just off the market square, Piazza Vettovaglie (map: http://tinyurl.com/5zh2w8). Good food, traditional Pisan, very good wine menu (also a Enoteca/wine bar) nice staff. Food affordable, wine you can pay as much as you want, but plenty of good low priced bottles available. 3 course meal for 2, bottle of wine from 60 euro.
and 50 meters away, Via Cavalca 19 (Piazza delle Vettovaglie), slightly more local style and less expensive, but with a good selection of wines and local food: "il Campano" old style trattoria in a small, old fruit and vegetable market square. Very affordable http://www.ilcampano.com/

Alberto Petracci replied about 1 year agoReasonable food and good quality, but overpriced. The service doesn't look forward to help: if it's not you, another tourist will take that table...
