An excellent restaurant is Trattoria La Pesa (Via Giovanni Fantoni, 26, Milano - 02 4035907), a nice and tiny restaurant with marvellous typical italian food. Last time I spent 35 Euros each but only because i had a very expensive Brunello di Montalcino wine (35 Euros a bottle), choosing less expensive wines that could get to 25-30 Euros. They have a fantastic wine list, very good unknown wines for 12/15 Euros! And the young owners are really funny and kind!
I found it out from the Corriere della Sera restaurant list, and that's another point in favour.
You have to go there to taste real italian cuisine, I promise!
It's a bit far away from the center, you need to get there with a taxi, but still it's sooo worth the expense.
