Mestre, Italy + Add a trip

4 star Hotel in Mestre, near Venice city center. There is a free parking that I found very convenient and a well served connection to Venice by the public transportation. I enjoyed the park, a very peaceful place to spend relaxing time, the room was fine and very clean, in the morning the breakfast is rich and tasty, there is also a restaurant serving traditional dishes.

Mestre is the outskirts of Venice, the most part of the city was built in about 15 years after the economic boom that has seen the growth of the industrial area of Marghera. In recent years the municipalit of Venice is working to develop many areas of the city. Many of the historic areas have been improved becoming real attractions like Piazza Ferretto, the main square in the city center.
