Stefano Canepa replied over 3 years agoGoing around in the historic center of Genoa. Genoa's histoic center is formed of little lanes and squares with old palaces and many little churches that sometimes are hidden between palaces. Then a stroll to the old seaport where there is the Acquarium and the Bigo. Bigo is an elevator that when go up revolve so that you can see all the old city from the high. Another where you need to go is to Spianata Castelletto using the elevator from Piazza Portello. At the end you cannot miss Via Garibaldi with all its beautifull buildings and museums.

Exhibits about historic ships and the port, the Italian-American immigrant experience, photographs from sea-faring communities around the world, and future planning for Genoa's port. Great collection. http://www.galatamuseodelmare.it/jsp/index.jsp
