Hotel Califfo . The hotel is along the road from Cagliari to Villasimius; 1 km from the beach. The front building is not very nice but inside facilities are a good value for money. Rooms are modern style with something of tipical; bathrooms are adeguate and clean. There is a nice swimmingpool, tennis court, a little soccer court. Good Restaurant and good breakfast buffet. There is wifi and 2 internet point. The bus stop is in front of the hotel and the bus goes to Cagliari; it takes about 20 minutes. The bus service stops at 11.00 pm. The staff is very kind and helpfull.

We wanted a beautiful place at a great price and found Hotel Mare Pineta Sardinia http://www.marepinetahotel.com/ . It's right on the beach (private beach club) and there's a spa. This was our first trip to Sardinia and have returned a few times since then.
