Juliana A Vieira replied over 3 years agoTake the walking road uphill to reach Assisi from the train station. 4 of the most interesting places to see is the Rocca Maggiore, St. Assisi's cathedral, St Chiara's cathedral. and S.M Minerva in the very centre of this medieval town. Assisi is a perfect place to spend the day.

John Chan replied over 2 years agoAssisi town is on hill top and is far from Assisi train station. Take bus or taxi to go up. It is a great pleasure to stay in Assisi for one or two days. It's especially calm and peaceful city. It is not touristy at all. You will see monks in traditional cloths walking around and all buildings are made of white marble stones. Do some homework to search for good food. You'll find some very good restaurants in white tomb and price is not expensive. Hotels are spacious and not expensive. You should visit Rocca Maggiore, St. Assisi's cathedral, St Chiara's cathedral and SanRufino cathedral. It is a memorable experience to stay in Assisi and you will remember it forever!!!
