Its a great spot with trees and a beautiful river that runs down on each side of the greenery. It has paths running through it, over the river and into the thickest parts of the trees. There are many great places to sit down and have a picnic or just to admire the scenery.

The "park" goes uphill towards a small dam at the top. If walked a little bit further beside the lake you'll arrive at the árbæjar swimming pool that has a great view down the valley.

It is the most beautiful in the summer time but during high winter it also looks rather good. There is also some great fishing to be done in the river and its a very well known fishing river among the community.
