Ampat Varghese replied over 3 years agoI would suggest a quiet ride by car to the Padmanabhapuram Palace some 60 km from Trivandrum. It never fails to fascinate me especially the black marble dance floor and the architecture. If you can somehow get someone to take you right up to the top to see the locked-away murals - your visit is complete!

Ampat Varghese replied over 3 years agoI would also suggest the trek from Bonacaud to Agasthya Mala (Mountain of Sage Agasthya) through the Biosphere Reserve. It is some 30 km from Neyyar Dam which in itself is a nice spot to visit.
