Indrani Medhi replied over 3 years agoLeopold Cafe Leo’s is not a café, but an institution,…a landmark…with an eclectic clientele from all walks of life. Featured extensively in Gregory David Robert's "Shantaram". And last but not the least...hefty portions of food for a very reasonable price.

Matthew Grey replied over 3 years agoOn your first night, you're likely to be stuck in Saha, Andheri (E), next to the Airport. This is monopolised by the 5 star hotels, which all have exceptional restaurants. However, a couple of gems are within a taxi / rickshaw ride:
Chakra on the Sakinaka Junction, Andheri Kurla Road, phone: 022-28515205 a<a href=

Sankarson Banerjee replied over 3 years agoThe best bet for Indian food near the Airport is the Indian restaurants at the Ecotel Orchid Hotel. The hotel is just outside the airport (walking distance, but no sidewalks...) and has one exceptional restaurant (Vindhyas) and an average Indian barbecue (rooftop) with great views.
