Where's good to stay in Jaipur?

  Diggi is a family owned hotel and is the best value in Jaipur. We booked most of the rooms for a wedding and they looked after us fabulously at Holi. The owner and his wife are quite delightful, and the staff eager to help at all times.

  The best bit is that the food is among the best you will find in Jaipur - you simply don't need to go anywhere else!

  And they have just convereted part of their stables - the owner is a polo aficionado - into a self-contained flat. But book early, this is proving to be very popular, so my spy, Bertie Dyer of Indiabeat.co.uk, the Conde Nast Traveller Agency of the year, tells me. (His wife Victoria took us on the most fabulous shopping trips and we saved loads of money and didn't get hassled).
